IMPACT

2023 Impact

  1. In 2023, Bidii supported a total of 275 new students, of which 249 are in high school and 26 university students with tuition, school supplies, and room and board expenses. These students will need continued support for a period of four years as they progress through high school and university.

  2. The organization expanded its economic empowerment project by supplying vegetable seeds for vegetable farming to a total of 193 women and 20 men in the community.

  3. Bidii Foundation continues to provide business counseling and support to women groups who carry out various economic empowerment projects including animal rearing, commerce, and table banking.

  4. Held two gatherings in 2023 for our primary and high school students and their families. These spaces allow us to gather and celebrate the achievements of the young people. 

Overall Impact

Since 2009, Bidii Foundation has raised funds to support over 1,675 students in the Luyekhe and Mumias communities. 

 

Economic Empowerment Groups
